Paint Your Own Handmade Wheel Thrown Pottery Mug Workshop Saturday 21st September 2024 2-4pm. The Note Warehouse, Yatton, UK In this workshop artists Martin and Wen-Hsi Harman presented this workshop. Participants had the opportunity to paint their very own Handmade Mug. What makes made this workshop special is that they got to create their own unique painting on a mug completely handmade, thrown on the potters wheel by the artist Martin that’s is theirs to keep and treasure! We spent an afternoon relaxing and enjoying the moment by picking up a paint brush to create something by hand that is unique. We also had inspiration imagery for guidance. Not to mention access to the amazing cafe. After we finished painting the mug they will have a glaze applied and fired in the kiln ready to be collected. Mugs are food safe and ready to use for your foveate drink! Or give it to someone as a gift. Thank you for coming to this workshop. We will be updating the finished results soon! Workshop Artists Wen-Hsi & Martin Harman teamed up to run a Chinese Calligraphy workshop as part of the South Bristol Arts Trail. A free workshop that ran on a drop-in basis for both adults and children. In this workshop we celebrated the Moon Festival with traditional Chinese Calligraphy, exploring Taiwanese culture. Participants learned how to write characters using brush and ink on red traditional paper and took home their creations. I don't know any story about robin bird until I listened to Martin's talk in Taipei Taiwan. I am oversea buyer, if you are oversea buyer, if you are oversea buyer in Taiwan you might need to wait two weeks to receive it because its print on demand from Japan. You need to have patience to wait however its worth value." |

This hat comes in one size and has an area on the back to adjust the size. So even though I have a small head circumference, it still fits, it‘s just a little dimpled at the back of my head. But I found a way to fix it, just put a ponytail on it.

這頂帽子的品質還不錯。我尤其喜歡他的顏色，水洗的牛仔藍色，在一年四季裡都可以配戴。帽子上的刺繡圖章，它是由黑紅色的蘑菇圖案圍繞在有著逗趣表情的臺灣黑熊所組成，這讓整頂帽子在休閒中又帶了點童趣感。帽子只有一個尺寸，它背後有可以調整大小的地方。所以儘管我的頭圍較小，還是可以配戴，只是後腦勺會有些許的空洞。但我已經找到修正的方式，只要綁起馬尾就可以了。 The quality of this hat is good. I especially like this color, washed denim blue, which can be worn all year round. The embroidered seal on the hat is composed of black and red mushroom patterns, surrounded by Taiwanese black bears with funny expressions, which makes the whole hat a little more childlike in leisure. |
