Shipping policy
 
Shipping in the UK and the Rest of the World
  • All of my original handmade artworks come with (Tracked) Shipping to the UK and the Rest of the World.
  • Reputable couriers are used including: Royal Mail, ParcelForce, UPS and DHL

What is the handling time between when an order is placed and when it is shipped?
  • Original handmade Artworks will usually be dispatched from my studio within 1-3 working days.
  • The carrier will normally deliver your original handmade artwork order within 3 working days of dispatch for the UK and 15 working days for overseas.
  • Print Accessories may take longer to arrive depending on were you are located in the world as some items are print on demand.

How I Pack my Art for Shipping?
How Much Does Shipping Cost? 
  • Shipping costs range in price depending on size and weight of item and were it is shipped to.

Notes
  • Item/s ordered will be delivered to the address provided. If you are not at home when the items are delivered please note that I will not take any responsibility for any los or damage if left untended.
  • If the item/s are retuned to my studio because of failed delivery attempts I will then charge you for the cost of redirecting your delivery.
  • If you find any damage to the item/s ordered upon delivery please notify the carrier or myself as soon as possible.
  • For shipping outside of the UK, any additional duty or customs charges applicable in the destination country are payable by the recipient.


​Return/Refund Policy

Original Artworks
How Long you have to return an artwork
  • If you are unhappy with your order you can return it up to 7 days (one week) from the day of the delivery.

What is the Process of returning an original artwork
  • I want to make sure you are satisfied with your artwork. If you are unhappy with the artwork please contact me within 7 days of delivery and you can send the artwork back. Please return the artwork within this 7 day period. Please note that it is the buyers responsibility for the shipping cost of returning the item. The artwork should be shipped in the same condition as it arrived and ideally in its original packaging or appropriate packaging. Once I have received the artwork I will then refund the total amount you spent minus the return shipping cost within 3 business days from the date of the return.
 
  • If the artwork arrives damaged please send a photo of the damage so that I can better understand what went wrong. You will be fully refunded or it can be exchanged for another artwork.

Print Accessories

Digital Orders
  • Sorry I am not offering refunds.

Website Developer
  • Sorry unfortunately no refunds. However you will receive three revisions, I want to give you the best possible website.


Payment Plans
  • Payment Plans are available for any of my Original Artworks. This can be useful if you want to spread the cost of an original artwork over a period of monthly instalments.

How it Works?
  • The maximum time period I offer is a 6 Month Instalment.
  • I will send you a contract that states our responsibilities. 
  • Payments will be set up through my Paypal account, I will send you a link to make a payment every month. 
  • I will hold the artwork until full payment of the artwork is cleared, then I will send the Original Artwork to your chosen destination. ​

  • Please be aware that although I do try to photograph my art to its true representation, there may be slight differences due different computer/device screens.​​
Were is your Studio?
  • My studio is based based in North Somerset, England, UK. I do not make my address publicly known for privacy reasons as I live and work in the same space.

Artworks 

Are your artworks made up of Editions? 
  • ​All of my original artworks are hand-made by myself "Martin Harman". No artwork is exactly the same. Generally I do not make additions, however I do often make artworks that relate to each other wether that is through subject and form, sometimes artworks will be made as part of a series. Please ignore quantity button on shop page as only 1 artwork is available. You are welcome to check out available hand-made artworks on my Shop.


Materials

What Clay do you use?
  • I mostly use stoneware as I usually fire to high temperatures.

How do you get those colours on your sculptures?
  • The colours used are vitreous slips that I spray onto the suffice of the forms.

How do you create your paintings?
  • When it comes to painting I enjoy using materials that are not commonly used in fine art painting. This can be materials like newspaper collage, household paints and acrylic paints.​


Artwork Display

How do I display your Art?
  • Free Standing Ceramic sculpture can be placed on items like a coffee table, cabinet/glass cabinet, table, bay window sill.​
  • Ceramic Wall Sculptures are ready to hang on the wall.
  • Paintings are ready to hang on the wall.
  • Please bear in mind if you have children in the space you would want to make sure the art is in a safe space out of reach.

Can I share your work on my Magazine/ Website/ Blog?

Thank you for your interest in my art, you are very welcome to share it.

Please can you make sure to credit me as the author of the work. Please link any images or video to my website/social media.
Please can you not edit the image/video or add text on top of the content so that that the work stays true to my creations.
​Can I Commission an Artwork?

I am happy to take a look at an idea you have in mind. 

I would really appreciate it if you can please bear in mind that my work is an artwork and not a reproduction and ideally I would like the artwork to retain a certain level of style making it a Martin Harman artwork original. 

If you would like me to create a customised artwork for you please send me relevant information about the projject such as the theme or subject, mood/atmosphere, colour, size, were the artwork/s will be placed and deadline.
