What You See Is What You Get
I am often fascinated by my perception of reality. What is this reality, how do I make sense of objets existing in space, why do they appear the way they appear, and what rules determine this.
For this drawing I observed a mug, however I did not what to represent it as I saw it but instead question its solidness. This is represented by the shifting form of the mug highlighting its unsold state. This is contrasted with its shadow representing the opposite, a solid geometric shape.
