Inspiration
The Robin was voted Britain's National Bird in 2015. It has a colour of red around its chest and head, with browns and white covering its body.
After doing some more research I discovered mythology associated to this bird tells story's for example, robin birds appear when loved ones are near, good luck, happiness and rebirth.
This artwork comes from an original drawing I created. It all comes back to a life experience I had of one day sitting on a park bench and a robin bird came up to me which looked like it was carrying some food in its mouth which it then dropped by my side. It looked intentional like it was offering me food. The bird must have stayed for 5 minutes or so before leaving. After this I was reminded how surreal this moment was, I have never forgotten it.
When wearing this tote bag I would like it to connect to your curiosity and let you move forward with determination and new beginnings.
