Inspiration
For me barcodes represent the times we live in. It can be used to store information related to commerce and peoples information. It bridges the gap between the real world and the digital world.
It is interesting how times have changed to the point now ware digital information seems to be the centre of the human construction we live in.
It is everywhere and interconnected. It helps many people live out there day to day activities. In some ways the digital world represents progress and innovation but it also fuels new addictions. Even I am addicted to the amount of information I can access at a touch of a button. Its great as I can connect my self more to the world around me and I can continue to expand my thinking.
However out of this I realise perhaps this addiction is becoming a new religion? The digital world is not a tangible object but it exists.
