Inspiration
This drawing continues my exploration of my hand. The inspiration comes from signs, symbols, the essence of being alive, and lockdown life during the coronavirus pandemic.
I reached my hand up to the sky, I wanted to touch the clouds, I could see its presence, experiencing the moment. The human experience connecting to the world around me. In that moment I decided to take a picture of my hand and create this drawing.
With this drawing I wanted to create an otherness. It is almost alien like, it is reaching into the space, almost like it is entering another dimension.
