Information about this artwork
Bone China Porcelain, coloured slips, glaze.
Medium: Assembled bone china porcelain, slips, dipped and brushed with glaze.
Created: 20/8/2020
Dimensions: Variable
Inspiration
This ceramic painting series was made to reveal the making process and quality
of the bone china porcelain.
With these works I wanted to bridge the gap between ceramic and painting.
I was thinking about negative and positive space and trying to reveal this. I did
this by revealing shapes combined with the white background of the clay.
