About the Artwork
Medium: Stoneware, various glazes, fired to 1250c. H60 x W20
I set out to create this ceramic sculpture using the organisations ceramic materials.
The form was created using spheres thrown on the potters wheel. It was an exploration of of cutting and joining geometric forms to create this curious formation. It takes on a life of its own. The result was unexpected and surprising. It invites the eye to take a closer look at the details.
