Art Exhibition "Cultural Science" at Curiosity Virtual Gallery.
Extended to March 1st This is a group exhibition from the Art of Tang Hsiang-Ming, Wen-Hsi and Martin Harman. Culture in society's across the world has its roots in historical traditions and foundations. It can help shape a persons identify and the relationship to the homeland. When we look outside of the box of culture it becomes a scientific study figuring out how all the pieces fit together that helps shape a society. But can I ask who put that there? and can something new enter the space? In this exhibition you will find different forms of art from calligraphy on fans to, ceramics and paintings. We would like to bring together our art to respond to "Cultural Science" and its roots within the festive season of the new year. What does 2023 mean for you? In the west the new Year is celebrated on the 1st of January however in Asia it is celebrated in the end of January to February and this year marks the year of the Rabbit. New Year celebrations can be celebrated to mark the start of a new year, to wish upon people good tidings, new beginnings, the bonding of family. It is not just a celebration it is a tradition and culture celebrated around the world. |
