The Mushroom Mug
Commission 9/11/24
For this project I was asked to create a handmade mug with hand painted Fly Agaric and Liberty Cap Mushrooms.
I created the mug on the potters wheel and then hand painted the surface.
The whole process is completely handmade.

"I commissioned Martin to make a mug for a friend with specific fungi on it with a foreground colour. I am delighted with his design that he created for me , it looks wonderful and I am so glad I gave him free reign to use his artistic skills designing the mug for me.
