Inspiration
This collage painting continues looking into the idea of belief and barcodes. Barcodes for me can appear to be useful but in some ways can take on a sinister meaning depending how you look at it. It can represent our current society, commerce, storage of digital information such as products, services even people. In some way it represents the fabric of modern day society. I often feel it has to be believed in to become real, it is this very belief that keeps it alive. The bar code paper cutouts are just about visible in the circle with this misty white on top singling a spiritual, religious or another dimension to enter.
