Inspiration
One day I encountered a robin bird sitting next to me on a park bench. It had appeared to have dropped some food by my side almost like it was offering it to me. I thought it was strange that a bird would get so close to a human let alone hang around next to me for what seemed like 3-5 minuets.
After this experience I then released that my grandmother who not that long ago had passed away, really enjoyed looking at birds. Was this experience some kind of a sign from an after life or was it mealy just a coincidence that triggered the right response at the right time. Either way I wanted to create an artwork that reflected on this experience, to capture the humanity of that moment and how surreal it appeared.
